Scrum and XP started as a way of continuous improvement and flexibility became so rigid and inflexible over the years.  It is hard to imagine when this transition happened.  Hopefully the same won't happen to Kanban.  I really like this method of development. We implemented it in an overall team of 200 people starting in 2006, and had very encouraging results.</description>
